Washington State losing currently, which would be very bad for our chances. If they lose, they probably stay ahead of us (only two losses) and get the NY6 spot along with the Pac-12 champ going to the Rose.

Still could come back, but if they lose we need Florida to lose to FSU. Unlikely.

This could me a Citrus Bowl appearance, possibly against Moorhead and MSU.

We shall see, but I don't think the committee will drop them that far.

I don’t know roam. You know what bowls are interested in? MONEY! Who would bring in more fans and revenue for any bowl? PSU or WSU? Penn St isn’t out of the NY6 picture unless they lose or NW wins the B1G next weekend.

Nope, doesn't work that way in the New Year's Six. The bowls don't choose the teams, the committee does.

  • Lol. Yes, and that committee is completely transparent and objective. Money rules the world. This includes college football.

The committee doesn't give a hoot about what bowl games will make more money than others. Especially when the chair of the committee is the AD from the University of Oregon.

LMAO, you think he'd pick a Big Ten school over a PAC-12 school just so the Peach Bowl can make a few extra bucks? Why? That would hurt the Pac-12.

Roam do you really think the power 5 conferences and the ncaa would let outsiders come in and decide who plays in these bowl games? All they care about is money and they’ve got it fixed where teams like UCF can’t get in the playoffs so that shows you it’s fixed. It’s a scam and it’s all about money. Games are not fixed but who gets in is.

All the people working for the committee are in different conferences around the nation. Why on Earth would they sacrifice their own conference so some bowl game could make a bunch of money.

That would be dumb

Why would the bowl games agree to let the committee pick their participants if the revenue wasn’t a huge factor?

Because if the bowl games made their own choices they could determine their own matchups. If it was all about money, why would you entrust someone else with choosing your participants?

PSU lost 2 games it should have won. We don’t have much to support us going to a NY6 Bowl. There are other decent contests that would be good for the Nittany Lions.
