Best of luck to him, but this doesn’t make any sense to me. Pittsburgh native and former Boston College starting QB Phil Jurkovec is also transferring to Pitt. If Villeaux doesn’t beat him out, he’s in the same situation as he would be in at PSU.
Jurkovec is going into his 6th year; another Clifford. That would be chit though for CV if he doesn't beat him out for the starting role.
Should be interesting, particularly since sPITT's OC coached Jurkovec for 2 yrs at BC. Not saying that there's going to be a little bias, but human nature says to stick w/ what you know.
I was hoping CV would land up at Ga Tech. GT did pick up the QB from Texas A&M and got another kid that’s really good but I forgot his name. The problem is GT is losing more than they are gettin but it’s still early I guess.
