Does anybody know anything about this kid? We only have 1 RB in the class coming in. Cain has been hurt most of the year and IMO he’s the only RB we have that can break a tackle and keep moving forward. Sometimes players have a hard time staying healthy like Stevens. I’m not saying Cain is one of ‘em but he’s been beat up so I just don’t know. Guys I know all the kids playing RB are busting their butts and working hard but besides Cain I just don’t see one that can be good enough to carry a team on his back like Sanders and Barkley. From what I see they are really good backups and IMO that’s what’s wrong with the offense we don’t have a stud RB that can get yards after contact and the days of having big holes to run through are over you have to have a RB that can drive through a small holes and pick up 5 or 6 yards and pound the defense. Besides Cain I don’t see a RB that can pound the defense and wear a defense down and keep the chains moving. Clifford is just a stud and he’s the reason we’re 9-1.

We actually have two running backs committed for the 2020 class. Holmes and Keyvone Lee who is also a 4* back out of Florida.
Rivals just shows 1 caven and that’s what I was looking at. I don’t keep up with recruiting like some of y’all do.
None of us can look at it all my friend. That's why it's great that we can all share ur bits of information for the betterment of all of us!
I don't know much about either of these backs but based on their current weight it looks like Holmes will need to put on some pounds to be a bruiser, but that may not be his style as an All-Purpose Back. He is listed at 5'11" and 179 pounds. Lee, on the other hand, is 6'0" and 210 pounds so he may develop into more of a between the tackles type of back. Who knows though, once you get into Galt's strength program he can work miracles.
I will say this... with 2 more backs coming in I totally expect 1 or 2 to transfer. My guess is Slade.
Hey Southern , Rivals stinks. Don’t waste your time with them. 24/7 is far better. Sean Fitz is the Penn State 24/7 recruiting expert. If you see anything posted by him, it’s accurate. As Caven said, they have 2 four star rated RBs in next years class thanks to the recruiting of RB coach Seider, who also brought us Noah Cain. FYI, I used to list more recruiting stuff on here, as I follow it fairly closely, but I got tired of snide remarks from an old carmudgen on here so I stopped. The same one that used to post political BS on here and then act like it wasn’t what he meant when he was called on it.
Well come on back and keep the recruiting information coming in because we do appreciate it. I think we’ve stopped with the politics unless it’s just joking around or something. We stay away from the R and D any way lol. The only thing that gets me riled up is the CFP committee I can deal with the religion and politics stuff lol
Damn the Tyler Elsdon kid looks very promising. Good closing speed, tackles old school (runs through the ball carrier after contact), chucks blockers, etc.. Have any of you seen this kid play and what are your thoughts?
