When the one tweeting the video is the President and he is thanking the moron exclaiming a white supremist saying, then yes, the President set us back at least 60 years. Fair enough. I’ll check out the articles you mentioned about Biden, but as I said, if a traffic cone was running against Trump, the traffic cone gets my vote 10 out of 10 times. All I know is this, I was taught to treat people with respect and the way I wanted to be treated. It’s really simple. I grew up going to church every Sunday. There is the right way to conduct yourself and treat people and the wrong way. I’ve seen nothing from Trump that says he has any respect or love for anyone except himself and the almighty dollar. He panders with his rhetoric to those that believe there are different classes of human beings and I can’t condone that. Being on twitter and calling people names isn’t leadership.
Further, when high ranking, highly respected, distinguished Military leaders speak out against an acting President, it gets my attention. These are the leaders we trust to keep us safe. The ones in charge of protecting our democracy and borders. The ones protecting our young men and women on foreign soil and putting the Constitution and our freedom above their own. It’s rare that they voice anything negative about a President, very rare about a current sitting President. So, when many of them come out and announce that the acting President is divisive and a threat to the constitution, I think we owe it to this great country to listen. You are free to vote as you wish. It’s those military leaders that have afforded you that right. At a minimum, listen to what they are saying. The way Trump treated Senator McCain, a war hero, was disgusting.

1. No he didn't stop all travel from China. On January 31st all he did was prohibit non-U.S. citizens from entering the USA. US citizens were still free to COME AND GO AS THEY PLEASED. Those coming back from China were not quarantined, their immediate family wasn't either. He didn't ban cargo from China, he didn't ban freight from China, all he did was keep non-US citizens out. He still was letting US citizen fly to and from China. THAT IS NOT A BAN. There were still 30 planes a day from China landing with people on them at LAX February 5th, just about a week after Trump's so called "ban". Many other planes at other airports too. Stop falling for this nonsense.
2. None of the Democrats congressional leaders have criticized that decision. If you disagree, don't just say "yes they have" without showing proof. If they said it, find it or I don't believe you.
3. Biden never criticized it either. Trump will have you believe Biden said "“This is no time for Donald Trump’s record of hysteria xenophobia, hysterical xenophobia, and fear-mongering to lead the way instead of science.” shortly after the restrictions were announced. And as if Biden never said anything like that before, which he had... multiple times before the travel restrictions.

The American people need to have a president who they can trust what he says about it, that he is going to act rationally about it. In that context it's clear Biden is talking about Trump's credibility based on his history, and saying the same thing he'd said before about Trump... that's he has a history of xenophobia and fearmongering and doesn't want more of the same at this time. He quite obviously was not calling his travel restrictions (which Biden never even mentioned in the speech) racist.

He said Hydroxychloroquine wasn't proven and we should find out more, and then Trump said "go out and take it, what do you have to lose".

Lastly, Dr. Fauchi in the very beginning didn't mandate mask-wearing. So yes, back in February Dr. Fauchi said he wasn't sure about wearing a mask yet. I didn't say that every single moment of the entire coronavirus that doctor fauchi was saying to wear a mask... what I did say is that he would get up to the podium many times, say to wear a mask, and Trump would then come on not wearing a mask and tell people they didn't have to wear one.

For the record ( as if anyone should care ), I’m on your side of the political equation though I’ve always considered myself a middle of the road Democrat. I can’t discuss politics because I lose myself in the frustration and I know that in this divisive, flag planted environment, I won’t be converting anyone.
Thank you. I am middle of the road Democrat also. My dad was a coal miner and a construction worker. My mother worked in a factory. Both of my grandfathers started working in the coal mines at age 13. I was the first college graduate on either side of my family. That’s why I’ll be voting for Biden in December. He gets it. He grew up middle class in Scranton. He understands what it’s like to live in a family where the bills get paid based on a weekly paycheck. Trump never experienced that and can’t relate to that lifestyle.
The divisiveness and far left and far right wings of this country are tearing down the system. Although it will never happen, I would love to see this two party system gone. It’s too corrupt.
