No announcement yet for stadium capacity. I'm guessing they will start small, 35 % of all seats. It's just my guess and opinion. So, a stadium that holds 100k will have 35k. Maybe, I will say again, maybe they will increase it to 50 % if things get better half way through the season. For HS football, I feel it's going to be a real bad season for most schools. The school district's will most likely loose lots of that revenue between tickets and concession stands. I even fee some l schools might drop the schedule this year. It's just too much to weigh as of now. The liability is a concern.

While saying it that way doesn't sound bad, a half % represents 1.6 million people in the USA.

It doesn't matter how we "Slice and Dice" the reports and numbers, the fact is we got to get this way down sooner than later. With two straight days of 40K new cases, we will be lucky to see football at all by September. Social distancing and wearing masks was working! If everyone would have worn a mask since this thing broke wide open in March, we would just about be done with it today! They are learning more and more about this virus every single day. I saw one Doc estimate that apprx 20 million Americans probably have this thing if they could test everyone all at once. 125K deaths in 4 months is nothing to sneeze at. That is twice as many as in 4 months than the common flu had back in all of 2018 which was by far one of the worse years for the common flu.
I am not some one that get's spooked easily, and I am BY FAR the biggest eternal optimist you will ever meet. This Virus has me in check and and I am not afraid to admit it!! Maybe it's my age ( late 50's) and maybe it's because I just don't feel like getting sick with this at any level. No matter what, as long as people are lazy and and take the attitude that nobody will tell them what to do, we will be watching more people die and more PSU re-runs on TV.
I have been working out trying to get back in shape. I keep telling myself, you can do anything for one hour day if it will help extend your life. I am now saying, what is 90 days out of your life if it will give EVERYONE a chance to extend their life longer! Wear a mask!

thats exactly the way I’m looking at it Ompa1. I believe most people have had it or has it now. Deaths of our loved ones is way down.
