BYU beat 4 teams in the PAC 12 South, including Utah who won the PAC 12. They finished 10-2, Utah finished 9-3.
Somehow Utah is ranked ahead of them and playing in the Rose Bowl while BYU is playing UAB today in the no.one.cares bowl.

The PAC won't be relevant or respected until USC is a power again. Too many people think like Southern and believe a team can't be good in 2021 if they sucked in 1959.

BYU had some nice wins including over UTAH. I'll occasionally look at Jeff Sagarins Ratings page and it has Utah rated much higher. Not saying he is right or should be used in bowl selection but I have found him in the past as not that far off of the true rating of a team.

What does this have to do with the PAC 12 being respected? Utah, who is in the PAC, is going to the Rose bowl and ranked ahead of a team who beat them and many other teams in the PAC. If anything, that's too much respect. BYU is the one with no respect here.

They beat Utah and most everyone else in their division. How on earth does that equate to being ranked behind them.
I also took a look at those rankings, they are quite ridiculous. Iowa is 10-3 and beat Iowa State... Iowa plays in a better conference, Iowa played in the Big Ten title game, and Iowa is ranked behind Iowa State who finished 7-5. WTF?
I guess at the end maybe they were just ranked to high as BYU just lost to UAB ... an unranked team.

Why would I run and hide? I never said Cincy would beat Alabama, all I said was they deserve a chance to play them. Regardless if it was Ohio State or Cincy, I'd bet on Alabama but that doesn't mean it's a sure thing.
Again, if Cincy loses it doesn't mean they didn't deserve to be there. They beat the #5 ranked team in the nation and that's a fact.
