Bowl season needs revamped:

Many teams were uninspired to say the least. Whether it was disappointment at missing out on the playoffs (GA, Mich) or just that their last game was a bowl game that was a minor blip on the national radar.The best effort, focus, energy seemed to be teams on the rise after some down years (TX , Fla, Kentucky).Solution would be a 16 team playoff . For those 16 team, the last game would at least be a shot at the national title and thus should produce everyone's best effort.

The two best teams are playing for the National Championship. Once again the Committee comes out looking good. Obviously they all cheered when Georgia lost. Word among those in a position to bring about change, is that there is not much interest at this time.

Change is being pushed by fans.
