Just get rid of the bowl games and get a 24 team playoff. 2 teams win only 7 games and half the teams sit out is all the evidence I need to see the bowl game thing is done.
With NIL (pay for play) & the transfer portal (free agency) all we need to complete the transition to NFL lite is a college version of the Pro Bowl!

These optouts are nothing like injuries. It was extremely rare to go into bowl games without half, or more, of your starting lineup through the year. Let alone BOTH teams doing it.
I just don't see the value in equating this bowl win to anything relevant other than Wisky's backups were slightly better than Oklahoma State's backups. Southern was trying to say it had some relevance to "who the better conference is". IMO two teams playing with a shell of their regular season rosters proves nothing.
This is how it is now, if 20+ kids opted out of the game are they really the same teams?
No it's not the same team. I agree with RIP. You want to opt out, go declare. All the power to you! That's why you have big rosters and depth. I don't understand why you have yourself so hung up on this.

How does anything of what I said equate to going into the game "like real men"?

No sense carrying this any further. Your anger and obsession is overwhelming. The only advice to you is don't watch any bowl games, don't watch football. You sound like this squeaky little wheel that constantly needs grease! To me it sounds like you're stuck in the middle and don't know what side of the fence you want to land on. Drummin up clientele because you know Utes are favorable. Therefore, you have something to fall back on and back you so you can pad the loss due to lack of participation and opt outs!

Texas ranked 20th with 4 losses and lose again so I’m assuming they’ll drop to 21st with 5 losses. Remoh, this is the way they play defense in the big 12 and PAC it’s like this in the regular season 😂
