You may want to revisit this statement: "he inherited a champ" regarding LSU. WHAT???
LSU was 3-8 the previous season, and 4-7 the season before that. They had only 3 winning seasons since 1988 as well.
I have absolutely no idea what you think a champ is, but LSU wasn't it when Saban got there

@roaminglion When Saban got to Michigan St, LSU and Alabama all 3 teams were a mess from what I remember.
