4-4 which is average but losing the Rose Bowl, Citrus Bowl and Ohio st gettin beat in the playoffs don’t look good for the BIG TEN. Penn State, Minnesota and Iowa had great bowl wins. Gotta do better to get more respect? Losing record against the SEC again. I was actually pulling for Indiana against Tennessee but they just didn’t get it done. SEC 7-2 with a game left. I’m ok with whoever wins the NC because I like both coaches but coach O doesn’t have a NC so I’m really hoping he gets one.

Not sure what it is, maybe just pure jealously, but Trevor rubs me the wrong way. I want to see how he reacts after losing a game....which he hasn't done and may never do. I watched Fields after he threw two interceptions, one being the game ending interception and he looked devistated. I want to see how Fields grows from this in 2020. TL is a great QB, no doubt about it, but sometimes you need to be knocked down a peg or two in order to get to the next level. For that reason and more for the OC at LSU, I am going with LSU as my team in the NC.
LSU 48 Clemson 24
Indiana's loss in the Gator Bowl to Tennessee is the one that bothers me. The Penn State defense gave up 371 passing yards to Indiana and 462 total yards. Tennessee held Indiana to 227 passing yards and 303 total yards. Against Tennessee, Indiana was 4 of 13 on 3rd down but against Penn State they were 7 of 13.
Too many differences for an accurate comparison or to assume direct cause and effect relationships but it seems the Penn State defense regressed during the season.
It’s Limegrover’s fault lol......just kidding buddy....we’ve won 11 games the last 3 of 4 years so IMO James Franklin thinks to get the 12th win or more he thinks Limegrover was the weakest link that’s why he made the change. I hope it’s the right move because I don’t see what BC did on the field on offense that tells me that this OL coach is better than Limegrover. 6 points against Cincinnati and a losing record playing in the ACC. The only thing I feel good about with this move is I know James Franklin has a great eye for talent for great coaches and players.

Why do you think "6 points against Cincinnati" is the end all be all in evaluation of an offensive line? Who cares, the OL doesn't throw the ball, catch the ball, or run the ball. Those skill positions on BC mostly stink, that's why they didn't score points. Their RB is decent though, but made to look A LOT better by the OL.
Look at what they did this year with no one to speak of on offense that is any good. Basically their RB is projected to go late rounds in the NFL draft, and even then some say he should switch to a fullback. Yet he was 1st team All-ACC... guess why? The OL was good.
But man, their passing game is BAD. Their entire OL made All-ACC in some respect, and two of their RBs did even though neither is a special player really.
I did say James Franklin has a great eye for coaching talent so I’m not doom and gloom about the hire but the ACC defenses besides Clemson stinks. I pull for whoever coaches Penn State. I like Limegrover and I really think he did a great job but I like the new guy better because he’s now the OL coach. I don’t let pride or anything else get in the way of penn state winning. You know I love James Franklin but if he’s keeping penn st from winning he can hit the road lol
SEC 7-2

Big 12 1-5

i didn’t realize the ACC put 10 teams in bowl games. Maybe the conference isn’t as bad as I thought lol

All you have to do as a Power 5 team is finish 6-6, and they were playing each other.
Yeah they won 4 games... Clemson was one of them and the other victories were against Temple, Eastern Michigan, and Mississippi State. None of them ranked.
The Big Ten had 3 victories against ranked teams. We also played 6 ranked teams, while the ACC played 2.
The Big Ten consistently plays a much tougher bowl schedule than most conferences.
The level of competition for B1G teams is tougher than the rest.
