No, it’s not, but as one of my coworkers says, “You’re only as good as your last 5 minutes.” Leach is an unorthodox eccentric guy in general. It doesn’t mean he isn’t a good coach, but this is an example of an undisciplined team that doesn’t have a lot of respect or fear of their coach.
Meh, Jimmy Johnson won titles with a team that fought every week.
Leach turned two underperforming schools into top 25 teams, this is his first year at MSST. Out of the ordinary for a team he coaches, I doubt it becomes common
Leach had a good presser afterwards, said something to the effect that the team was undisciplined at times and the fight really wasn't worth losing any sleep over. Move on.
