Missouri had the ball with no time on the clock, and missed a 26 yd field goal to send it to overtime. Then, after Auburn made a field goal, Missouri was running into the end zone and fumbled it when he tried to extend with Auburn recovering.
It was worse than that.
1) MS misses relatively EZ FG to go to OT.
2) MS just misses an INT in OT, after review
3) Auburn misses FG but MS was off sides, Auburn makes FG.
4) Before winning the game with a TD MS fumbles the ball on the 6" line. Game, Set, Match.
Talk about stealing defeat from the jaws of victory.
Eh, looks good on PSU Resume. Auburn looks like at 25-30 team.
@underlion That’s exactly what I’m talking about baby…just find a way to win the game. I’d rather look bad with a win than look good losing. Auburn found a way to win. There’s always a game or 2 every year that comes down to did you find a way to win the game or did you find a way to lose. We should’ve lost to Purdue but on the road on Thursday night first game of the year we found a way to win and that’s what good teams do. The last couple of years we’ve been finding to many ways to lose but I’m seeing a different attitude with this team. I also believe James Franklin has his head in the game now. Good god I love that dude but he was pissing ole southern off the last 2 years lol
@underlion Holy cow, You are right that is crazy!
I don't think Auburn found a way to win so much as MS found a way to lose.
We have a thread going on about Nebraska and Frost...talk about losers. Statistically you just can't lose like that unless, well, you are a loser.
