Great game yesterday. Does anyone knew if any of the players opted out? Do any of the players have lucrative NIL deals. Asking for a friend.
Tell your friend I said he's a dick. And as for you, get a f**cking clue.

Your response is totally inappropriate and portrays you as an unintelligent individual. The reasons for your behavior are complicated and beyond the scope of this forum to figure out. Hopefully you will find peace and move on with your life where you can find purpose.

I'll say!
Sky, since you and FT are the same person, I'll save time and effort by posting this here:
I suspect you already knew this and once again, you're trying to stir the pot. I agree with Tsuga, your "friend" is a dick and you really need to get a clue. These soldiers were given the option of sitting out during the covid years in the sense that if they feared contracting covid that option was there.
There was a time where members of the Academies had to serve their country before going professional (Roger Staubaugh) or serve while playing (Napolean Macccalum). I'm not sure where David Robinson fell during his time playing basketball. Feel free to look it up and learn something. Who knows, maybe you'll get a f**king clue!!
It seems to me that the only unintelligent individual here is you.
If I remember right tsuga has degrees from Penn State and Rutgers. If I’m wrong sorry brother but I remember long time ago somebody saying it and I’m thinking it’s you. It may have been 2015 you were at the game between Rutgers and Penn St and a brawl or something happened and you said both sides could’ve handled it better. We won that game late it’s the only time I’ve ever pulled against Ralph Friendgen he was thier OC? Intake that back 1991 was another year 😂
I took a different view of his intent when I first read the post, so I kept my comments to myself. I chalked it up to a sadly misguided attempt to show the irony between regular college football players opting out and those of U.S, Service Academies being above these distractions.
Now, if he was silly enough to pose that question, without it being tongue in cheek; then yes, I agree, it's better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you're stupid....
Please tell us you weren't showing us your ignorance.
@been-there-ii I think you're right, he was probably just trying to make a sarcastic joke to point out how the military acadamies are a more pure representation of amateur student athletes
@been-there-ii: about a year or two ago right around Veterans Day someone asked who here in the forum served and where they served. Sky chimed in (and I don't remember the exact wording) that served and deployed in the late 70's. Navylion and I both knew by the way he posted his response that he was bullshitting. As I recall, he either said he deployed in " the late 70's" or if he gave a year,it was a year that there was no US troops deployed. Anyway, we gave him the benefit of the doubt but still remained highly suspicious.
Fast forward to this thread. You served. You and I both know that anyone who served this Country would know that any member of the Academies are employed by the U S. govt and therefore can't take outside monies. So he's either incredibly stupid, or a lying sack of shit about his service to our country.
That was the impetus for my reply. When given time, assholes that claimed they served but didn't eventually out themselves.
SPF: You have a very good memory. I did indeed do my grad work at Rutgers.

Oh jeez, please give it a break. Otherwise, it's Odd Tsuga and T-hale both show up same day.

Not odd at all, Tsuga posts from time to time and everyone knows T-Hale is a big wrestling guy who's in the forums more during wrestling season.
Nice deflection tho

Are you sure about that? How do you know they are not the same poster? We have a few of those judgemental people on this forum. Prove they are not the same person.

Wanna know what's even more odd?? When this incident took place sometime ago, Navylion used an acronym to describe Sky's "service". He playfully described Sky as an REMF. Guess who was the first person to come to Sky's defense; it was you.
Fast forward to yesterday, guess who was the first to come to Sky's defense?
Keep swinging Suzy.
Think I'm lying, look it up

What the F*** are you talking about. Seems like you are the one always looking for validation.
Man it's been a strange year in that I've pretty much agreed with everything Roam has said and lately find myself also agreeing with Hale and Tsuga.

Ah, back to your old Pennlive fall back statement, "Prove it".

Not to mention the whole "I know you are but what am I" vibe of his argument. I'm the same poster?!?!? No you are! Whaaa
