The Georgia QB has had 2 phenominal defenses in a row... Georgia didnt win the NC because of their offfense last year. Same thing this year, defense. Stetson Bennett is a good kid, but even being invited is kinda a joke. It's like saying Trent Dilfer was the NFL MVP because he played when Baltimore had that D
@roaminglion USC offense put up 499 a game and Georgia put up 491 but Georgia is undefeated playing in the playoffs while playing in a weaker conference USC lost 2 games and USC has better players than all the other teams. Georgia also played much tougher defenses. Now I don’t believe the Georgia QB will make it in the NFL but for college he’s good. Go back and watch the Michigan game last year when Bennett dominated Michigan’s defense and then put a butt kicking on the Tide. You’re right about Georgia defense but their offense is dominated teams as well.
And BTW Trent Dilfer done a great job managing the games and he didn’t make mistakes that beat ‘em and that’s one reason they won the Super Bowl. Trent deserves some credit for that SB win.

The Heisman is the most outstanding player, not the guy who played well on a great team. If he wont make it to the NFL, how outstanding can he be?
Also... name one good defense Georgia played, since you brought it up. Kentucky? That's the best defense they played.
@roaminglion it’s hard to compare but we’ll know more after bowl season when good teams play other teams from different conferences.
