Saw an interesting speculation on the best scenario for Allar made by Johnny McGonigle who writes for PennLive:
Clifford starts the remaining games and Allar goes in once we have a comfortable lead. Pretty much like Franklin has been doing. Cliff gets his much deserved sendoff on Senior Day vs MSU. Once the regular season is over, the keys to the offense are turned over to Allar and he is announced as starter for the bowl game. He has the advantage of the 15 extra practices prior to the bowl to prepare for his debut and this sets the stage for his starting role in 2023!
This sounds like a plan!
If Penn State pulls Bama, Oregon or Ole Miss, Clifford will start the game. Now, if any of these games are a repeat of the Hack/Dawg game, I doubt JF waits until the 4th qtr to pull Cliff and put Allar in. Just my opinion.
GO STATE!!
