I’m beginning to think Clemson might get their butts handed to ‘em by ND. I’m usually big on Clemson but watching the ACC this year I think Clemson is good but not as good as their record looks. The Tide will walk through the playoffs this year and give the great Nick Saban his 7th NC. Ohio st and Georgia are the only 2 teams that had the athletes to beat Bama and both teams were left out because their losses looked worse that the other teams losses lol. I’m still trying to figure that out lol. I was watching Wake and how bad they are lol, the ACC stinks this year.

Penn State drilled Pitt by 50 and Pitt played in the ACC title game... Nough said on that subject...that the B1G champion has been left out of the last 3 CFP tournaments exposes that whole system as a sham for ESPN and its sponsors .. Remember the B1G network and Fix are the competition and they can't have a B1G team winning their sham CFP and bringing a dose of reality to the agenda they are trying to spin.  .

Duke beat Northwestern 21-7 and they finished 6th in their ACC Division while NW played in the Big Ten title game. I wouldn't put much stock in that logic.

That said, the ACC is pretty darn weak this year... Though I still think Clemson will beat ND.

Notre Dame barely beat Ball St and Vandy. If people want to be frustrated by the playoff selections, they can start in South Bend. No conference championship game and a weak schedule rewarded ND. I hope Clemson kicks their ears in.

Maybe they will, but if ND had the acorns to fully join the ACC this would have been the ACC Championship game matchup. Instead, ND picks and chooses it’s schedule and isn’t held to the same expectations as everyone else. Therefore, they stole a playoff spot from a conference champ who was left out. The presidents of the conferences should get together and do something about it, but that would require acorns also, which none of them have.

I agree but the Conference presidents are afraid of ND. I don’t know why.

It’s probably dealing with MONEY! All these crooks care about is money. I understand it takes a lot of money to run all these colleges but they can make the same amount of money by making ND play by the same rules as everybody else. Scwe ND if they don’t get in a conference they don’t get a chance to play for the NC. These crooks are so greedy they’re afraid of losing out on some money it might cost them for a couple of years while it takes ND to figure out they ain’t no better than the rest of the teams and then they’ll decide to get in a conference. Until they get in a conference don’t play or at least leave them out of the NC games. You’re right 99 they stole a slot from a conference champ. We have to many teams sitting home watching conference championships games on tv and still making the playoffs lol. It’s a joke and scam all about money

It's all about perpetuating the lie..  ESPN is in bed with the SEC and the ACC... REMEMBER the B1G, Texas and the Pac 12 are competition ...you are 100% correct as it is all about the money and protecting their financial interests... The B1G hasn't had their conference champion in the CFP in 3 years .. Just saying...

ESPN makes less money if two SEC teams get in, not more. TV ratings for national competitions are always higher when more regions of the country are included... So when Georgia, Clemson, and Alabama dominate the stage the rest of the country doesn't tune in.

The highest rated championship game is still Oregon vs. Ohio State. By a lot. So if it was about money, it woukd be incredibly stupid of them to push for games that only include the southeast.
