I’m thinking our offense will be the usual early season play calling and rely on the run and safe passing and the aggressive defense will get a score and set the offense up with a short field.Both of our lines should dominate making this a mostly non competitive game.

Last years Purdue game is still lingering in the back of mind. But so is the Utah game! Started out messy and ended like a well oiled machine! I don't think JF is going to take his foot off the pedal at any point this Saturday night. I just don't see him letting Allar get in a come from behind game, so if the Lions can score - and they should - he will let them score as much as they can. Love our defense, don't see WVU scoring much on their own, so with that said.....

Hey - I like your thought here! I think this defense is going to be better than last year and maybe one of the best we have had in quite some time! I think we are going to score a lot, but with that comes getting some players in at the end which is why I am giving WVU 7. The team we are putting on the field this Saturday night is ahead of the team we put on the field vs Purdue last year. I don't see a close game at all....and if it is, shame on them! Singleton and Allen are capable of having 100+ yards each! One of these two cats is going to break open a big run!

Hearing Singleton has been lightning in a bottle in the short passing game during practice the last 2 weeks. Look for 75 yards receiving and close to 100 rushing from him and named game MVP.
Also 5+ sacks for the D as Dennis-Sutton, Chop and Adisa Isaac all get at least one each.

That game didn’t look anything like I was expecting.
@psujoe I looked at WV schedule last year and I believe that had some tough losses. I thought we would’ve been a little better on defense and the FG kicker is killing me. Looks like he’s got a strong leg just needs to be more accurate. I was very impressed with the offensive we could score when we needed too. I believe WV is pretty good but it is also the first game.
I was very impressed by Allar. Manny has some work to do with his D. He needs to find a way to bolster the middle of the line, get the LB's more involved and stress overall gap discipline. We need to find a reliable FG kicker. I don't know if "Lefty" (thanks FD) is the one. Overall, I thought it was a very good win against a decent team and I'm optimistic that we'll have a great year.
