I was wondering about the 2021 recruits lately, and thinking about all the players who gained another year of eligibility this past season. So what does that mean for these 2021 recruits? Are a bunch getting greyshirted? Is the NCAA allowing more scholarships to compensate? If not, how are teams going to make room on their rosters?
I have a feeling the transfer portal will be rife with players this off-season.
If so we need to get a few DE’s and maybe a QB. All the other positions I think we’re really good.
Mckenzie Milton entered the portal yesterday as did Anthony Russo. If PSU were to look to the portal for QB help those are two intriguing names.

He’s likely headed to Nebraska to follow Scott Frost who recruited him at UCF.

I agree and it will serve as a HUGE benefit to them next year and the coming years. This move (if it happens) would allow Luke McCaffery to redshirt next year and learn the offense from a very astute and talented player. After which, Nebraska would have a Junior QB with 4 YEARS of eligibility left due to a redshirt and this year not counting. Of course he wouldn't stay that long if he is successful, but still nice to have that in your back pocket.

According to my sources Nebraska is definitely the favorite but he already has plenty of other suiters including Mich State and Old Miss.
