Saying WRs directly come to programs to be with QBs is asinine. Jeremiah Smith didn’t come to OSU to catch passes from Will Howard. These dudes care about one thing and one thing only if the price is right. There here to leverage as much money out of NIL as possible and then translate that into a high as possible draft pick, that’s it. Luther Burden III will be a top 15 draft pick and no one on here knows who Missouris QB was last year, it has nothing to do with Drew and everything to do with money.

@kularrow To say the play of the starting QB doesn’t influence a players decision as to what school he signs on with or transfers out of is even more asinine. How many receivers that have gone out the door have bad mouthed Allar on the way out? Players do not only make their decisions based on $ they also go to where they have the best chance of succeeding. Coaches, assistants and current player rosters all factor in.

I see DA struggling to throw down field and it’s not hard to see and if I was a good WR ain’t no way in hell I’m coming to Penn St know you’re going to get the blame if DA can’t get you the ball. An OC has been fired and the WR’s coach is on the hot seat and we’re going on our 7th 8th and 9th WR’s. The thing is I watched with my own eyes Pribula come 2 games where Allar was hurt and helped get the win the whole momentum of the game changed for the good when the offense was working. Go back and watch the second half of the Wisconsin game and look at Pribula throwing the ball all over the field and then there’s his feet. Hack, the FG kicker, Farmer and DA all have something in common…they should’ve been benched because the dudes behind’em were better. The kicker did get benched lol

Omari Evans has joined Harrison Wallace III in the group of 2024 Penn State starting wide receivers who have found their transfer destination.

According to a report from On3’s Hayes Fawcett, Evans committed to Washington on Wednesday night. Evans, who entered the transfer portal on Jan. 14, was reportedly taking visits to the Huskies, Tennessee, Texas Tech and Syracuse.

"Go back and watch the second half of the Wisconsin game and look at Pribula throwing the ball all over the field and then there’s his feet" - He had 98 yards passing against Wisconsin and averaged 7.5 yards per pass in the game. Drew Allar had 148 yards passing and averaged 8.2 yards per pass in that same game. But sure your eyes saw Pribula "throw it all over the field". Makes sense

I don’t know what world you guys live in where Pribula is better than Drew Allar. Only on this forum can Evans and Wallace magically be turned into elite receivers. Let me guess, Liam Clifford is an elite slot? Maybe you didn’t watch the game but Notre Dame locked them down much like the rest of the good secondaries did all season. Is that a AK scheme problem? Maybe. KLS was far more talented and he walked. He didn’t like Allar that’s fine, “bad mouthed him” that’s fine because Diva WRs don’t exist in the NFL….. I guess his word is gold. McClain did nothing when he left, Cephas did nothing when he left, Fleming was on the downslide and OSU knew they were moving Cardale Jones in the slot. You guys better hope Pribula wins the Heisman this year. I have an early guess he won’t make through the season without being benched in the SEC.

So then the issue is coaching.

Look at the yards passing the whole year especially in the playoffs when the QB should be playing his best football. These are terrible numbers on passing yards.

check passing numbers Aller got outplayed by every QB we faced in the playoffs and the big 10 championship game and I’m not going to even get into the INTERCEPTIONS that killed us. The Boise and SMU QB’s also did better passing the ball.

Look at the playoffs and playing when the QB should be playing his best football

Notice you didn't even try to back up your ridiculous statement about Pribula throwing it all over the field (for 98 yards), you just moved on to something else.

Also... passing yards doesn't mean someone got outplayed. I love how you always talk about wins meaning a QB is good, except when it comes to Allar. Now, all of a sudden, wins don't matter and it's his stats that do. Moving the goalposts as usual.

Yet here you are, making a statement that the SMU QB "outplayed" Allar by throwing 3 interceptions, 2 of which were pick 6's. Yeah okay...

@roaminglion  he was 11 of 13 roam and we were losing when he come in and did it coming off the bench. It was also big passes to the WR’s

Allar was 14 of 18 and averaged more yards per pass. Pribula also did nothing until we were winning because of a pick 6. So be honest, he didn't "lead a comeback"... the defense put us in front.

Fact: Allar threw for more yards, and for more yards per pass than Pribula. You were just saying Allar was "outplayed" by other QBs in the CFP because they had more yards, now here you are saying Pribula outplayed Allar even when he had less yards and less yards per pass.

It's BS bias nonsense. Somehow Allar is worse when others pass for more yards, and still worse when he passes for more yards.

I am done arguing this point with someone who actually thinks the SMU QB outplayed Allar while throwing 3 INTs and 2 pick 6s

@roaminglion 0-6 against the heavyweights.  you don’t have an argument unless you’re just happy to beat up on Illinois and SMU but there’s nothing wrong with that if it makes you happy. Some folks are satisfied with beating up on lightweights.

I notice YET AGAIN you won't defend your previous statements about Pribula. You just move on to something else like:

"you don’t have an argument unless you’re just happy to beat up on Illinois and SMU but there’s nothing wrong with that if it makes you happy"

- let me fix that for you -

"you don’t have an argument unless you’re just happy to beat up on #16 and #10 but there’s nothing wrong with that if it makes you happy"

Gee, yeah... I'd rather beat up on ranked teams than tell myself we beat a heavyweight because we beat Michigan when they were 8-5.

@roaminglion  13-3 is a good season better than 98% of the teams out there but I still want to win one game out of 3 against ND, Oregon or Ohio State we lost all 3 big games. Oregon beat Ohio State and Penn St. Ohio State beat Penn State, Oregon, ND and Texas. ND beat Georgia and Penn St. we gotta start winning some of these big games is all I’m saying. Boise State and SMU were good wins but as you can see the CFP committee is already wanting to change things up because that’s who we beat. IMO we ain’t had a signature win since we beat the PAC champs Utah in the rose bowl. Pribula is a better QB for the offense we’re running and James Franklin let him walk just like he did KLS!

The committee doesn't want to change things up because of who Penn State beat, the Big Ten and SEC are whining because they want more of their teams in.

And enough of changing things when it suits your argument... All I ever heard from you is how the Pac 12 sucked, and now beating Utah with half their team opting out is a "signature win"? Funny how it became a great win the moment Allar beat SMU and Boise State. Also hilarious that beating a team that finished #10 in the rankings is a "signature win", but beating a team that finished #8 in the rankings isn't a good win.

@roaminglion  all wins are good no such thing as a bad win but beating up on Boise and SMU don’t hold the same weight as beating Ohio St and ND that’s why you watched the NC game and it wasn’t my team in it. Gotta find a way to beat the heavyweights and I’m not seeing the right moves to do that.

Utah isn't a heavyweight and yet you called it a signature win, basically because you want to make it seem like Allar can't win those games. SMU is no different from Utah.

Simple fact is Allar beat 2 teams this year ranked higher than Utah that year and you just can't handle it

@roaminglion I’m not pulling against DA like you’re trying to make it sound. There’s nobody that wants him to succeed more than me and I never said Utah was a heavyweight but they were the PAC champs when we beat ‘em in the Rose Bowl.

SMU wasn’t ACC champs when we beat ‘em and Utah was the PAC champs when we beat ‘em so there is a difference.
