So.... Texas is ranked ahead of Penn State. Our only losses? To the top 3. Our best regular season win? #16 Texas's best regular season win? Someone who is unranked. In the CFP? We crushed our first two opponents, they struggled. Common opponent? We lost to OSU by 7, they lost by 14.
Of course, this obviously is all a moot point because their name is Texas therefore they are #4. LMAO
I believe we should get respect for beating SMU and Boise State especially since we dominated both teams in the playoffs but you can forget getting respect outside of Penn State fans. It’s very good wins against very good lightweight teams. Thats just the way it’s looked at through the sports media.
Pretty much what I expected and this is what happens when you have a horrendous record versus top five teams. Respect is earned, and we haven’t earned it yet.

This is EXACTLY the reason why I don't want rankings to have anything to do with who gets in a playoff...Conference champs and runner ups get an auto bid...the group of 5 gets one and you get 3 at large...That is the fairest way to do it...
