We continually sign guards and small forwards but for some reason, we have a lot of difficulty getting "big men".  We need a couple of 6-10 to 7 ft power forwards or a center who can dominate inside and stretch the court.  We continually have to play small in Big Ten games and that puts us a "big" disadvantage (pun intended)....

How much more time and what level of success do you think Chambers has before a change?

My opinion Lake is that Chambers has perhaps 3 years to make it to the NCAA tournament.  If he falls short of that, then he will be gone after the 2021 season.  He has been here for 8 seasons (2011-2018) and other than the NIT title in 2017, his teams have fallen short.  Heck, he at least made it to the NCAA tournament in his 3 years at Boston College.

That is because Chambers runs a guard heavy system, one without a true center. It's much like his mentor Jay Wright at Villanova, almost a 3 guard offense with a SF/PF and a true PF. That an play hard as nails defense.

I'll tell you this, if Penn State ever finds a decent offense while Chambers is coach, watch out. That's the problem though, isn't it... Chambers really doesn't have a good offensive mind.
