National Signing Day is a much anticipated day for many College Football fans. Traditionally this day, held on the first Wednesday in February, is the day those prized recruits you have been following for months sign with your favorite NCAA Football team.

In 2017 an early signing period was also offered that allowed recruits to sign with a team during a 72 hour window. This early period was like Christmas come early for many teams as faxes were sent in and classes began to fill. It has taken a little of the prestige away from the traditional signing day, but many feel that two days to look forward to are better than one.
