They just voted to remove these terms from all official PSU course materials, as well as he/she in favor of they/them/theirs. All gendered pronouns will be replaced with "student" or "teacher" in descriptions as well.
To me, IMO this is a bit ridiculous and stupid... however it's not really a hill I'm willing to die on. It won't effect me at all if PSU calls freshman "1st Years" instead. Also, for people who take longer "5th year" makes more sense than saying "senior" again. As I said, the change is a bit stupid IMO, but it's not affecting me at all. I can think it's ridiculous and not really care at the same time.

I agree roam it doesn’t effect my life one bit. I’m not giving up Chick-fil-A, Black Nike, Diet Pepsi, NASCAR, my iPhone, nits of the Roundtable😁and i dang show ain’t going to give up Penn State football. I don’t care what people do the only thing that gets me ticked off is transgender use to be men playing women’s sports because it’s not fair IMO. I guess we could do away with men’s sports and have an open sports leagues in little league, middle school, high school and college that way anybody, men, women and transgender can compete. Women sports will be ruined IMO because female born won’t be able to compete and they’ll lose out on college scholarships it might not effect women now but it will down the road. Again, I don’t care what people do with their sex lives just leave women sports out of it.
