Anyone here pick wild mushrooms? Stumpers, Ramshead? I posted this earlier on Outdoor forum, but I think it's not getting muchread..
I do not but only because I don’t know enough about them. With my luck I would pick something toxic.

I hunt them if/when I have time and the conditions make it worth looking.

I learned from my Dad 15 years ago. It's really not hard after you go a few times with someone experienced. I only pick what I know is good. Lots of information on the web. I will post pictures and links
And don't go hog wild eating a new mushroom for the 1st time.
I tried uploading a photo from last year, but it's telling me it's too large, greater than 5mb, but details of the photos tell me it's only 1.5mb. I agree with been there, don't go hog wild ...
