how did our Pa. anglers do on the first day of trout season?

skunked!! first time ever on the first day. water was a balmy 41 degrees where I was. We hit an area where we usually see zero people and we don't use salmon eggs and power bait, something the elbow to elbow crowd seemed to be having success with.

penns actually. had better luck on spring creek 2 weeks prior.

Never had the pleasure of fishing down that way. I usually fished Pine Creek and it's tribs.
