Nick Lee is one tough dude brother. The kid from NCAR was having a great go at it in the NC tournament and Lee dominated that kid. Man Lees a tough kid.

@t-hale  I was always very suspicious of sky when he came on board and it turned out I was right because it ended up sky being snake oil. He gotta way with it a few months but he just couldn’t help himself lol. I trip out on ole snake him and homer and a few other get into it but it’s all fun I’m usually lmbo at ‘em. We watch and are suspicious of everybody new 😂

@southern-psu-fan lol From my side of the, For what it's worth; T-H isn't Snake Oil, Notfor'em Tighten, Sky, BlueShoes etc. (if he was a true PSU fan, he'd have gone w/ BlackShoes) T-H actually contributes to the conversations. He's still typing when all the other Niccy's nics have gone silent. He hasn't pretend to hold a conversation with his other nics, but forget to change nics mid conversation. Hasn't posted any nebulous statements, that leave everyone on the Forum scratching their collective heads as to, WTF he's trying to make a point about. T-H's sentence structure and syntax are different. And last but not least, his 1st post wasn't telling us how he's been a long time reader, but first time posting. 🤣

Interesting tid-bit: in this century, PSU leads all teams with 34 individual titles.  Followed by OkSt with 23 and Iowa with 18.  PSU's baby brother (Pitt) has one; that's right,one.

Tid-bit 2: Since 2012 we're the ONLY team to have a national champ at all 10 weight classes.  When does Cael and his staff get contract extensions??

Funny you should post that about Nick Lee as a few buddies and myself talked about the very same thing, just how good he is and belongs on the Penn State Mt. Olympus of wrestling. Its not just his winning but his leadership and example on and off the mat. His humility reminds me of Zane Retheford, always repesenting the Penn State nation to give us pride.

T Hale, I never thought you were one of the old antagonists from the old days. For the record I really like and respect that person you called out but you did the right thing. He's a good guy though. I was upset by another poster for his unproven accusiations towards several newer posters to be those old antagonists. If you can't prove it, you can't accuse it. 

Back to Nick Lee and his 2018 run, that was spectacular. Makes me wish the Kid would come back to the forum, would love to hear his thoughts. You would be shocked how good the Kid was wearing the Blue and White.

Last thing. I was too cool talking to John Fritz and his brother Bernie last weekend. As the former PSU head wrestling coach, he is increadibly humble.

@lakerie: Guys like Lee are going to be missed for sure. Thankfully he'll be staying on in NLWC and rubbing shoulders with the next wave of stars.  Rumor has it that he's even better at folk than he is at free.

Not sure which person you're referring to, I've called out a few.  If i see a wrong, I try to right it.

As for PaKid, I know exactly who he is and what he accomplished on the mat.  Im in touch with him frequently.  He's one hell of a guy and we share many of the same values.  I will tell you this much, he respects you and holds no ill towards you at all.  To be quite frank, he's pretty much had enough of Roam.  He views him as nothing more than a pompous ass striving to prove himself as the smartest man in the room; but falling well short. Tsuga left, TheKid left, Navylion left, people are pretty much done with the bullshit on here and the actions of a select few. You're not on here as much as before either.  I only recently started to be more active just in the past few weeks because of my love for wrestling.  Anyway.....

Im envious that you were able to go to Detroit and watch the sessions.  Were you there for all six?? The venue looked amazing, Little Caesars Arena seemed to have done a great job.  Have you heard what Kerk's injury is??

T, I’m telling ya brother, that was a misunderstanding Roam would never do anything to hurt or make fun of anybody he’s even stood up for me when I first started posting on pennlive. I believe we all get along pretty dang good we even stayed good friends talking politics and that’s saying something because we all know how politics can go. The PAKid and tsuga are 2 great dudes please let them know we want them to come back. Sometimes things can be taken the wrong when posting and I’m sure that’s what happened. If you ain’t on here all the time you may miss the way we all joke around.

Fritz didn't really say anything specific about Cael, I didn't specifically ask either. I am sure there is MUCH appreciation for Cael's on and off mat success here. We talked a little about Tom Teagarden's passing away, apparantly from Covid without vaccine. I had met JF at past NCAA's but this is the first time it was an extended conversation. 

The Little Caesar's facility was great and frankly Detroit a much better venue overall than Pittsburgh with plenty of restaurants in walking distance and hotels not as pricy. We didn't think we could make it this year as tickets were difficult to come by (so we thought) through Ticketmaster and EXPENSIVE. As it turned out, with a donation to the Wrestling Hall of Fame ($500) you could buy 2 sets of 6 sessions at the normal price of $250 each. That was half to a third for what I saw on Ticketmaster.

I'm glad there is no hard feelings between Kid and I though I wouldn't think there would be. I'm guessing you see him on the BlueWhite Illustrated wrestling board? If you converse with him tell him I said hello and hope his grandparents are thriving. I can read there but can't post because the site has an old email address and I can't change it. 

For the record, I do appreciate nearly all the posters here, only a few I can't take. It does seem its gone a little gonzo over the past year or so. Maybe it's covid, maybe its politics but the tone got really surly for a while. I'd call out all the names I so enjoy reading but too many to name and wouldn't want to insult by forgetting to mention.

I know nothing about wrestling and have even asked questions in the forum about why things are scored certain ways.

He seemed to get pissed at me because of two things: I said a post about guns should probably be in another forum, not football. And a joke I made about lakeerie, that for some reason he thought was making fun of Manville. Now I'm certainly not the first person to ever say a post didnt belong in a forum, so still not sure why it got so much attention... and even lakeerie tried to explain the intent of my joke. Heck, I even said my bad if he took it the wrong way...

I said that right after PAKid's post. Also, another poster is the one who said Manville has bulges and isn't cut in regards to his fitness. I turned HIS WORDS back on him to make the joke, which was directed at him not Manville. And you know what, that person got the joke and said he found it hilarious.

So yeah, I already apologized for the misconception or misunderstanding. What I'm not going to do is KEEP apologizing to you or anyone else for it just because you didn't like it. Seems you don't want an apology, you want a constant self-flogging.

As for gifs, people do it all the time online. Somehow on this forum it's now attention seeking behavior? To post a gif? No one said anything about gifs until now, didn't know gifs were so offensive?
