Well, combine everything you said and add: PSU has a slush fund to pay recruits, PSU wrestlers need to be tested for steroids, Zain is a dirty wrestler, Cael can’t coach; only recruits, Cael is a slime ball and turned his back in his coach and left ISU, Cael needs to be investigated by the NCAA, Cael is bad for wrestling, and a few other random nonsense thoughts and that’s what you’ll find when you visit the HawkeyeReport. Yes, Iowa fans are insanely jealous and have a sour grapes attitude now. Funny thing, when Iowa dominated and won year after year, Gable was the greatest thing since sliced bread and awesome for advancing the image of the sport. When the shoe is on the other foot, it’s bad for the sport and they must be cheating. It’s like they are small children thinking out loud. Iowa fans may be the worst of all.

And they absolutely despised the fact that David Taylor was doing some announcing last night. It was ESPN showing favoritism towards PSU? Here’s a thought Hawkeye faithful, Taylor was a 4 time All-American, 2x National Champ and has been extremely successful in International competition recently. He is also very smart, humble, well spoken and loves the sport. He is one of the most recognizable faces for the advancement of the sport. If that bothers you, then produce someone like him to help the sport’s reputation. Instead, we get the antics of Thomas Gilman. Get a clue Iowa.

IMO there isn't a worse fanbase in the conference than Iowa. They come across as bitter, jealous and delusional and have a hard time handling their brief moments of success.

I spent some time reading other college wrestling boards and what an eye opener it has been. To remoh’s and linebacker’s thoughts, tOSU fans are pissed. It isn’t by accident that Ryan “built” this super team with elite recruits and 2 transfers to coincide with this year’s championship in Cleveland. What a recruiting tool it would have been with ESPN exposure and Ohio headlines. It sucks for him it blew up in his face and now he is known as building the best super team ever THAT CAME IN SECOND. What is even more sad is the Iowa wrestling board and how bitter they are. Paraphrasing  what linebacker said, they accuse Cael of slushfunds, can’t coach, only recruits, turning his back on Iowa State, bad for the sport and of course the whole ped state thing rears it’s ugly head. Fact...Iowa without Gable ain’t what it used to be under Brands. Penn State will be Kings of Wresling as long as Cael is in charge. I don’t know what happens after Cael but it’s a blast now.

OSU has been weighed, measured, and found to be wanting........again!!  This was their best chance to win a Natty and they fell short. The stuff being said about Cael is absurd. He's a man of faith, principle, and integrity and anyone that says otherwise is a buffoon.

He teaches more than just wrestling in that wrestling room. He truly loves EVERY one of his wrestlers and wants to see them excell both on and off the mat.

All wrestling fans are awesome. Sometimes passionate people say stupid things.
