Dominating performance, I was very pleased to see Hildebrant give Suriano a real tough match. While we may not have to absolute brute domination at certain weights like in the past, we do seem to have a very balanced lineup from top to bottom.

Hard to have as exciting a team as Bo, Zain etc but this team is solid.

Hildeband, while avoiding Suriano, showed that he could win with some luck.  Maybe some magic from coach Cael

Kirkviet was well coached and disciplined in his win.  He can beat anyone but #1.  He has a nice HWT room to practice with.

Berge looks as solid as ever, never blows anyone out but he will score points at nationals.

197 was a tough match that we eaked out.

PSU had an easier time with UM then Iowa had with OSU.  I expect to win the Iowas dual but it will not be easy.

Great win for the Lions but in Michigan's defense not as dominant as the score looked. A Lee/Micic match was 50/50 on paper. Micic wins and its an 8 point swing, Lee wins and its a 2 point swing. The 149 injury default by Michigan (although too bad) would have been a 3 point swing had Bartlett won by decision. The 165 through HVY matches were 50/50 to 60/40 on paper and had a few gone Michigan's way the score would look much different. In the end Penn State would beat a full strength Michigan line up 10 out of 10 times IMHO. Michigan is a VERY good dual match team deserving of the #3 rank but shows just how good #1 Penn State is. I can't wait for next week against Iowa then on to Detroit.

@lakerie agree, things pretty much went PSU's way other than RBY not getting a major.  Team is solid across the board now with some weakness at 157.  I thought Dean would be a little better, he seems to be a guy that finds a way to win, usually, but keeps us 'on the edge of our seats'...if not standing.  Really, none of these guys are just plain dominant when wrestling a top 5 opponent.

Disappointed that the MSU match is not televised today.

Can Nevills play offensive line?  He was on the bench Friday night.
