They just have their own narrative, and push it no matter what.  During the Big Ten media days, I repeatedly heard and read reporters saying: "When you talk about the Big Ten champion, it's hard to pick against Ohio State. It's like the Patriots in the AFC East"

Enough is enough.  The Patriots have won 9 straight division titles, and 14 of the last 15 division titles.  That's NOTHING like the Big Ten East, or the Big Ten. Since 2010 Michigan State and Wisconsin each have 3 Big Ten Titles (1 shared), Ohio State has 2, and we have 1. How on earth is this comparable to a team winning 8 division titles?

Wisconsin has won their division 5 times, Michigan State 3 times, Ohio State 3 times. WTF? Do these reporters just make stuff up?

Hey, all they are doing is taking a page out of the old National Enquire et al! Like in the tabloids positioned in the checkout lanes, the headlines don't have to be true they just have to pique the prospective reader's interest.

You'd think someone getting paid could see how winning 2 titles this decade, while other teams in the conference won more, isn't the same as the Patriots in the AFC East.  ROTFLMAO

Based upon recent history and Ohio State’s continued prowess in recruiting, the statements from the experts are reasonable at this time.  The games on the field, not opinions, will determine who the B1G Champion will be.

Recent history has MSU and Wisconsin winning 3 titles, and Ohio State winning 2.

Were those the same crack prognosticators who predicted OSU vs. Michigan in the title game under the old Legends and Leaders alignment? How many times did that happen?

Soon it will be time to play the games. Those that take seriously or get upset by the opinions of experts are just darn silly.

But not as silly as constantly switching nics to troll a rival's discussion board.

I'm not upset at their opinions, I'm upset that they justify their opinions using nonsense that has no factual basis. There's a difference:

"Ohio State will win the Big Ten" - Opinion, no problem with it

"Ohio State is like the Patriots in the AFC East" - No... no they aren't. Since 2010 they have less Big Ten Championships than two other teams. How on earth is that anywhere close to the same as a team who has won 15 of 16 AFC East divisions?

One could say Alabama is like the Cleveland Browns of the AFC Central... It doesn't make it reality.

It’s called fake sports news Roam lol. It’s all about somebody’s opinion just like yesterday with you and Remoh going back and forth. You have always been fair about Joe Paterno and the way he was vilified and I respect that. I’m on record agreeing with remoh about Meyer not getting fired because Ohio st knew about what happened and that’s just my opinion. When joe told his bosses what somebody else told him IMO it was in their hands then because joe was just the coach and he didn’t see anything just like Meyer didn’t see anything and I look at both cases the same. When the people in charge know possibly there is criminal stuff going on it’s their job to step in and do whatever the procedures say do and if they don’t that’s on them not the football coaches. That’s why university’ and corporate America companies have these procedures but when somebody don’t do their job the fake news media tries and to destroy everybody and IMO that’s just wrong, just get the people that didn’t do their job and leave everybody else alone. But this is just the way I see things lol. BTW I would’ve loved to jump in yesterday but y’all going at it is way above my typing capabilities lol

Born and raised a PSU fan. I’m not an eccentric lover of Penn State. Some folks are just nuts and their perception of PSU is bizarre.  Can’t wait for the games to start. This silly fan talk is worse than ever.
