ESPN has him ranked #33 best players in college football. I never understood why this kid didn’t get a shot. He played pretty good in his first game as a starter but made a mistake and he went back to the bench. In James Franklin eyes some guys can make mistakes and some can’t. Big mistake letting this kid walk.

James' ego strikes again!

I don't really understand what people are thinking regarding Levis, he played 8 SEC games and went over 200 yards passing in exactly 1 of them. That's it, 1 game he threw for 300+ yards against the worst passing defense in the SEC: Tennessee... every other game he threw for an average of 150 yards, if that. Almost 2/3 of his passing yards on the season came in 4 games, against horrific defenses.
How that equates to the 33rd best player in college football I have no idea, because he wasn't a running QB either. The Kentucky running game averages over 200 yards per game, that's why they were good.
@roaminglion I believe we beat Iowa and Illinois had he been our backup. Man, that was a huge loss for us when he transferred. We probably win other games too because the team would’ve been playing with confidence. A very costly transfer and it killed us with depth at QB.
@southern-psu-fan Well yeah, but because we would have beaten Iowa doesn't make him #33.
It just makes him competent.
