The Big Ten will now get marquee games every week on 3 separate networks. The noon game will be on FOX, the 3:30 game on CBS (starts in 2024), and the prime time game on NBC. That's 3 of a possible 8 games every week getting a national major network audience, from noon until late night.
I assume the other 4-5 games will be sprinkled throughout the day on BTN and FS1 as well.
All in, it's worth something like 1.2 billion a year. Woah
My big fear is that NBC's coverage may include streaming on Peacock. I don't do streaming on my TVs and I don't enjoy watching athletic events on my computer. NBC's coverage of the Tour de France basically sucked unless you had Peacock. I hope their football coverage is better.
Guys, I got to say, I like the TV deals that’s going down. We just gotta give it a chance and let’s see what happens. I believe everything will be okay.
Bob,
I had a Zenith with a leather case in 1960. Listened to KDKA (Pittsburgh), WBZ (Boston) and WLS (Chicago) when I was supposed to be asleep.

What about ESPN? What's going to happen with them? Sorry I'm asking about ESPN. I know how bias some of you folks are with ESPN.
I don’t know why some of you wont do steaming, that’s all I’ve done for years and love it. T-Mobile 5G home internet plus streaming services of my choice means no cords connected to my house !

They have the SEC and ACC

I believe Peacock will have games, though I do not know if it a simulcast of whatever is on NBC.
@roaminglion I am fairly confident you are correct. I believe the fox games and NBC will be available on TV and Streaming for free as long as you carry those channels on your tv package.
The CBS package is the one that worries me as they charge for paramount plus regardless. Maybe it will be different for sports.
I should note that paramount plus is now being included in WalMart plus. Think of this as wal marts version of Amazon. So if you do this for the free same day delivery than you will get paramount included.
One big benefit that’s being overlooked here is that moving these games to NBC, CBS and Fox increases the probability you may pick them up on an HD antenna.
I'm sure most, if not all other, forum members appreciate your post. Sorry, but this is all Greek to me. If it's not on broadcast TV I guess I'll have to rely on my transistor radio, lol.
Paramount plus is also included in 247 Sports annual vip subscriptions

Also now Paramount+ is included with Walmart+ subscription as well... though I think it's the ad supported version
