I would have flip-flopped UGA and Oregon but other than that, it seems fair to me. I think OSU being #1 is only going to help us should we drop a close one to them on the 23rd. Seems like Clemson has the easiest path to the playoffs; they've been pretty much gifted a playoff spot. It would be nice to see them screw it up and lose one this year!!!
I found it interesting when on the show Fowler said he believes if Alabama loses that they will not make the playoff... pretty much all of the panelists agreed their schedule is not good enough to justify putting them in after a loss to LSU at home.
Just keep winning, ROAM! That is all the Penn State needs to do, just keep winning! Got to take care of the Gophers this weekend and get back to Happy Valley with another road win!!! JF and Co should be flying high after getting some love from the committie tonight. I can't imagine he won't have them firing on all 8 cylinders this weekend!!
GO STATE!!
These rankings mean NOTHING. What does the Forum Tighten say???
If the CFP committee is rankings these teams on what was done on the field this year we should be 3rd maybe even 2nd because we’ve had a pretty tough schedule. The Tide really has had an easy schedule plus their QB is hurt and that’s also supposed to be taken in consideration, right? I really don’t care I was just hoping the committee sticks to what they say?
I can guarantee you that a 1 loss Bama gets in...No doubt in my mind they ain't leaving out that sacred cow...Depending on how the chips fall even with 2 losses they may put em in...Reading these tea leaves and looking at the rankings and such it is quite obvious to me that they have set this up for 2 SEC teams to be in the playoff...B1G champ, SEC champ, Bama and Clemson...That's how it's gonna go down...
Not if LSU and Georgia play in the SEC championship and Georgia wins a close game it will be LSU and Georgia but if LSU wins the Tide might slip in but I don’t think so.
Being a conspiracy theorist, I see this as a set up. They put us at #4 in their first poll hoping we will lose to the Buckeyes. Then they can come back and say we had you in the playoff, but you couldn't hold your position by winning when it counted.

It just allows a 1 loss SEC Team above us to get in over a 1 loss PSU Team. Now the problem would be if we beat OSU well then a 1 loss OSU team should get in before a 1 loss SEC Team?
Bob Kozak: I hate to agree with anybody but I think you are spot on. I told my brother this morning not to get all worked up about #4 because if PSU is unbeaten going into the OSU game & loses they will probably drop to #8 or #9. I hope we are both wrong. Screw it, I'm going duck hunting.

4um tighten has already spoken, PSU plays no one, except cupcakes and putrid teams.

I just want to mention that every time this you tried to tell us that was what was going to happen, it didn't...
"No way Auburn falls behind us" - they did
"No way to Big Ten school will be ranked ahead of 3 SEC teams" - it happened
"Florida won't fall out if they lose" - they did.
Just sayin FD, you ain't batting 1.000 LMAO
If we lose, it's going to depend on how we lose. If Alabama gets routed by LSU at home, and we lose a close game at OSU... They may not put either of us in. At that point it might be LSU, OSU, Clemson, and Oregon. Who knows? If not Oregon, maybe Oklahoma. It's all going to depend.
I will say this, if it's a choice between the above and Alabama was blown out while we played a close game... We will get in. I know may of you see some conspiracies everywhere, but it will happen.
I’m not getting the vibe that the committee likes the Tide this year if they lose a game. I think they like LSU and Georgia but Alabama ain’t gettin the respect they usually do. Are you feeling the same thing Roam? BTW if Oklahoma wins out they’ll get in over any 1 loss conference team that didn’t win their conference?

His worthless opinion is the last on earth I would care about. He's already wrong on his wishful preseason prediction. When Penn State loses he'll be back to trolling like the total loser he time after time proves to be.

I am feeling the same about Alabama and the committee... Absolutely
I wouldn't be shocked if Georgia beats LSU and Bama, Georgia and LSU each have a loss that the 3 of em don't get in with the undefeated B1G champ... If Clemson loses or the B1G champ has a loss I see 3 SEC teams getting in... If Clemson and the B1G champ are undefeated then only 2 SEC teams are getting on... Oregon lost to Auburn so they are out... Just a matter of whether they put 2 or 3 SEC teams in...They have it all set up if Clemson or the B1G champ has a loss...
I don’t think so FD. Oklahoma wins out I believe they’ll get in, Clemson, the SEC champ and the big 10 champ is my prediction. I honestly believe the big 10 has a better chance getting 2 teams in this year if the game between Ohio st and penn st is close regardless who wins.
FD sees ghosts of SEC teams in his sleep LMAO
It’s not where you start that matters but where you finish.
