Can any Penn State quarterback keep up with Beau Pribula?

The Nittany Lions held their third winter workout on Tuesday.

It’s all I can read on Pennlive because I’m not a subscriber but I love the first sentence and it sounds like we got a good QB and hopefully the starting QB. Just for the record I’ll pull just as hard for any other QB but I believe Pribula will be the man.

I hope you're right, Southern.  Beau could be another Trace. Did you see where they're moving Abdul Carter from LB to DE?  I hope they don't screw him up.  He came on pretty strong in the latter part of last year.  Wonder if Allen had anything to do with the change.

Maybe it’s because of what we went through with Hack but I’m having a hard time believing anyone other than Allar will be the starting QB next season.

Right now we’re kinda thin at DE and he’s probably thinking Rojas, King or Robinson are capable of putting up the same numbers that Carter did.

Guys it sure did work out for Tim Shaw. Ya’ll remember Joe moved him to DE and it worked out great. I see the same thing happening here with Carter. Get that speed after the QB. I like the move.

Penn State board punts, for now, on naming field for Joe Paterno, at son Jay’s request

I don’t believe Joe wanted the stadium named after him but I’m sure there’s something they can do to honor him. Maybe name that bus the players get on after him they get on that bus every home game I believe. I always liked watching the goat get off that blue bus lol

 Article is on pennlive

@rip What matters is what JF thinks.  Remember he would not put him in when Allar was struggling he said it would not be fair to Allar, but it wasn't fair to the other kids on the team to not put them in the best chance to win.

I can't read the article 'cause I don't pay their subscription.  I'm kinda curious what Jay's reasoning is.  If the family doesn't want it, so be it.  I just think Paterno field at Beaver Stadium would have been appropriate.  IMO it's the least they could do seeing they don't have the balls to put the statue back!.

I think the only thing Joe cared about being named for him, is still named for him and hopefully always will be: The Paterno Library

True that, he said he didnt want a statue and people thought a great way to honor him was... to put up a statue. SMH

Naming the library was appropriate, it signifies what he cared about most

Aren’t libraries going away? I don’t know but it’s what I’ve been hearing for the last 20 years. Maybe it’s public libraries and not school libraries? I’m with RIP, maybe name the field but I like the bus idea too 😂 I like that bus

@southern-psu-fan If you take Joe at his word, he never wanted his name on anything or the statue in the first place. People seem to want to force these things to make themselves feel better. I think if Joe were involved, he would say rather than worry about his name on anything football related, make a donation to the school to support an academic endeavor. If you want to make that donation in his honor, so be it.

@rip FYI, the CATA busses in State College (The loop) have been been powered by clean natural gas for at least 25 years now.

Funny thing is we went with an EV because they are better performing cars, not because they are better for the environment... Never had one problem with our EV in 7 years now: never changed the oil, never changed the brake pads, never have to charge it away from home unless on a big trip, it's the highest rated car in safety, I pay less in electric than gas to keep it moving, it still gets great milage, and I can beat any other car off the line EASILY: 0-60 in 3.5 seconds.

Yet everyone always thinks I'm some tree hugging hippie because we bought one. LMAO, we just like it because it's better than any gas car we've ever owned.

That all said, I wouldn't buy a pickup EV yet. They have work to do there, nothing on the market now is really worth it over gas yet.

I’ve said many times I’m going with a hybrid next gas and electric if I can get a good deal. Ya’ll know I’m all about the environment because I love the ocean and lakes but I’m not stupid about it. Electric and gas both have its place.  You gotta change with the times but changing things up doesn’t mean you sink the ship doing it. We gotta use common sense and everything will work out for the better.remember, they’re more of all of us than the nutbags it’s just the few nuts that scream the loudest.

I've heard that from others about the EV, tesla. Mostly mechanics.  They have no lag when they get off the line. Pins you back in the seat.

Yep, it's gret acceleration. Practically zero maintenance too, all we've done in 7 years is change the tires once and a couple wipers.

My wife wants EV in the near future.  It will be the future.  Gas stations will be non existent.  Demand for electricians has grown significantly over the past 5 years and will continue. Every home in America will have a dedicated breaker and outlet for charging.
