I was watching that dude Zack Sieko on locked on nitty lions and that dude is already making excuses about the new WR we’re getting from USC saying he ain’t the answer but he’s good. You could give us the Philadelphia Eagles WR’s and these folk will still make excuses why we can’t throw the ball down field. Hamler, Godwin, Washington, Bryant,  Dotson, OJ, Engram and all the other great WR’s we had ain’t coming back these guys were great and you’re lucky to have guys like this. There is no excuse DA is a seasoned 3rd year QB it’s time for him to put a game on his shoulders and get a big fudging win and stop the excuses. All the sudden this dude becomes QB and all our WR’s suck and the ones we bring in suck…BFS. Then the dude says we’re a running team and AK and Yurcich is run first. If that’s the case why in the fudge did James Franklin let Pribula walk? Every team has a weakness find a way to win regardless. Ain’t no way you’ll convince me Ga Tech recruits better WR’s than Penn St. The problem is either the coaching staff or the QB not the rest of the team. We’ve had 2 QB’s that doesn’t have big wins and that DA and Moreli and even Moreli beat Tennessee when Tennessee was good…Ole Miss give me a Break. Go beat SMU, Boise State and ND or Georgia and get this not winning big games nonsense behind us. There is no excuse!

My post ain’t about DA because I know the kid is trying his best you can see it on the field and he played pretty good in the Oregon game. 2 minutes left in the game we around the 45 yard line second and 1 and we call a pass play and DA throws an INT, that INT is on the OC because Singleton or Allen should’ve got the ball again. We ran the ball down Oregon throat what happened to running something until the defense stops it? Help me understand 😂

@southern-psu-fan I actually agree, the problem is either the head coach, the coordinators or the QB.

If DA hit that pass, would there be any discussion? Not that it wouldn't have worked, but Ducks were looking for a run. Throw it, catch them off guard. (see what I did there?)

@southern-psu-fan I listen to the 247 podcasts but try to skip the ones Zack is on. The guy turns what would be a 15 minute podcast into an hour by saying the same things over and over.

@been-there-ii  if the score was tied or if we had the lead the 50/50 balls you can take a chance on but being down 8 with 2 minutes left ain’t no way I’d call that play especially when we’re running the ball at will. It’s just my opinion though that’s what makes this fun 😂

Has DA ever hit a receiver in stride for a long TD pass? I’m not sure that he has and the only long passes for TD’s that I remember were ones where the receiver was wide open and it was a poorly thrown ball. These defenses in the playoffs are going to scheme to shut down #44 and the running game and dare Allar to try to beat them.

FFS Drew Allar is in the top 5 of all NCAA starting QBs in yards per attempt and you guys act like he never throws a ball past the line of scrimmage.

@roaminglion every team we’ve beat this year we can beat with Pribula. I’m not worried about beating Washington, Maryland, Illinois, Wisconsin and teams like that we can beat these teams with mostly with our backups. I’m more concerned about beating Oregon, Ohio State, Michigan and definitely Ole Miss and I ain’t seeing it. Look, water u der the bridge if we beat SMU, Boise State and whoever we play between ND and Georgia probably ND Anything less is unacceptable. We got better players than ND and Georgia shouldn’t beat us with a backup QB our defense is to good.

I know. Hilarious takes, Kotelnicki turned down a P4 job and Allar is a top 5 rated QB on most draft boards but all I hear is “QB and OC issues”. Here’s an ugly truth, Hudson is more athletic than anyone on the current roster.

OK so then the issue is recruiting which is a head coach and coordinator issue if all the receivers we’re recruiting suck. We have to be one of the worst P4 programs in the country at evaluating WR talent.

Since DA became the starting QB we’ve played 5 teams with equal talent and lost all 5 games. IMO We haven’t won one game that Pribula wouldn’t have won the last 2 years.  I was happy with his play in the Oregon game but the turnovers were a killer but I did see a better QB.

Ohio State never beat any of the big teams with CJ Stroud, and he was throwing to a bunch of top line NFL WRs. Stop blaming just the QB as if it's all Allar's fault.

When exactly did we beat a team of equal talent before Allar? 2016?

@roaminglion  He beat Penn St 2 times and beat ND ranked 5th so that’s 3 big wins.  Roam, all I’m asking for is one big win I’ll even consider SMU and Boise St big wins since it’s the playoffs just like I consider big bowl games like the fiesta, Cotton and Rose big wins.

Penn State is not a big win for Ohio State, they've beaten us 9 times in a row. It's just plain expected at this point. And no, beating a 9-4 ND team that finished #18 in the standings doesn't count either - that ND team was nowhere near OSU in talent. Do you think GT had a "big win" over 2-10 FSU this year because when they played them they were ranked #10?

Here's a trivia question for you:

How many teams that finished the year ranked did Clifford beat in 4 years? Answer - 4

How many has Allar beaten in 2 years? Answer - 3

I love how you always say the PAC 12 sucked and wasn't good, and how none of the Group of 5 teams were either... except now Memphis and Utah magically count as "big equal talent" wins for Penn State.

@roaminglion  I didn’t say Utah and Memphis was big dawgs because they’re not but the cotton and Rose Bowl are huge wins and you can only beat who earns their way in these bowls. Ole Miss ain’t a big dawg win either but the peach bowl is an huge win and we seen how that turned out.

@been-there-ii  i agree! Pribula is water under the bridge and he ain’t coming back I was just pointing out we ain’t  won a game the last 2 years that we couldn’t have won with Pribula and the Wisconsin game on the road this year proves my point but Roam would never put up his stats in that game or the Rutgers game where Pribula had to come in and help save the day. DA is the starting QB at Penn St so he’s my favorite QB in college football I’m just telling what has to happen to beat teams that has the same talent level as we have. The problem has never been the WR’s and our best WR KLS was shown the door because James Franklin and most Penn St fans thought he was the problem and he was never the problem. We bring a pretty good WR over from Ohio St and he can’t even get on the field. Look at Flemmings numbers at Ohio St and look at his numbers this year. Flemming played a lot more at Ohio St so what does that tell ya.

Clifford beat Michigan 2 times won a cotton and Rose bowl and was the most valuable player and the dude beat Auburn 2 times. Michigan is ALWAYS a big win and Auburn when we played them was a big game. Ole Miss would’ve been a big win and you seen what happened. I’m not anti DA I’m his biggest cheerleader but the facts are the facts he has no big wins but there’s still time and it starts Saturday and they ain’t a Mother Fudger alive that’s wants to see this kid win Saturday more than me.
