Cam’ron Kelly

Bill, I don’t know how much of a lock Kelly is. There is a lot of smoke this week that he is leaning towards UVA or Clemson. We will see.

Roam. You may not understand it and there is a lot that goes on with recruiting that we don’t know, but UVA is a good school and he is an in state kid. Supposedly, he is taking an official visit to Clemson also. It’s hard to argue with what Dabo has going down there.

But he's not going to UVA.  Mendenhall ain't pulling that out of his butt, not with two losing seasons back to back. I could see him maybe pulling off some bigger recruiting gets if UVA wins 8 or 9 this year, but I think he'd have to show something more before getting those better guys to stay

One thing that has always bothered me about the sanctions era is that UVA weasled out of the ass kickin/payback that was coming their way in 2013.

There may also be some dynamics and implications going on with Lewis Cine visiting next weekend as well.  He is no PSU lock, but is much higher rated than Kelly.

I'm hearing Cam'Ron Kelly is being told there's not enough room at the Inn for him and Lewis Cine will be the last DB of this class.  The coaches decided to only accept one more DB for '19, Cine is in and Kelly is out.

Cine is in, Kelly is out. Not enough room for both, coaches had to choose one or the other and they've apparently chosen Cine. Has nothing to do with Kelly choosing to go elsewhere and it is because he waited too long to commit.

DT Corey Bolds announced he’s leaving.  Another spot open. Heard Kelly is committing to psu from another commit in 19 class

Honestly, I would think it's hard to pass up allowing both to commit.  Both are higher rated than any other DB currently committed, and both are 6'1+ in size. Physical and athletic DB's aren't the easiest guys to find, so I'd think each of these guys would be valuable assets to bring on board.

Also, technically Kelly and Wilson are listed as athletes and could presumably play in multiple positions.  Again, valuable flexibility.

This could all be academic though, because Kelly could just wind up picking Clemson for a multitude of reasons.  Cine looks like the bigger lock for PSU at the moment anyway...  his Crystal Balls are 100% PSU.
