They were left out because other than TAMU and Miami their schedule was shit and they lost to both of those teams.
It was the exact same scenario we are in this year. Other than a certain 2 teams our schedule is shit. If we lose those two games we are out and deserve to be out.

You guys are giving all the reasons why the whole deal is bullshit...Of course if you win a game in the SEC you got a top 25 win cause they put there whole God damned conference in the rankings...It's a con game...You people are going to sit there and believe 12 or 14 teams in the SEC are among the top 25 teams in the country? If you do then you really got stoned on the kool aid they have been giving you...Personally I believe we beat USC and have a decent chance at going into Michigan and knocking them off in their own building...I am figuring on 1 loss...With one caveat...The injuries don't pile up on key players...They already lost one for a little while...Lets see how they fill that hole...

As for your premise, it's kinda flawed considering Kentucky just beat #9 Texas A&M on the road and is still UNRANKED. That SEC bias didn't seem to do them much good.
