OK Sky, this could be the year Penn State runs the table on the road. I was 0-9 on the road until Saturday night (when traveling with my father in law) and we just got our first road!!!!!
Under perform all they want, as long as they pull out a win.

What did you do to break the chain? We that share the same nonsensical belief in supernatural mojo want to know.
Did the law of averages finally catch up to you guys or did you actually find a secret antidote?
So my wife and kids think I am crazy believing in what Lake referred to as supernatural mojo. Prior to the first game of the year I pull one of my many PSU shirts or jerseys out of the closet and suit up for the game. If we win, immediately after the game, the shirt goes back on the hanger and goes right back in the very spot where I got it from. Same ritual every week with the same shirt. If we keep winning I repeat the process. The shirt doesn't get washed until either the season is over or we lose. If we lose it goes right in the laundry. Been doing this for decades even when I was deployed on the ship or overseas!!
Maybe it’s because I grew up on the shore of Lake Erie and spent 20 years in the Navy, but I am with both of you! I wear the same shirt each gameday (and only gameday) until we lose. I drink the same beer during the game until we lose (so I am stuck with my summer Coors Light well into November) and snack on pistachios while on defense. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!

Well, we did two things we can think of. One, we skipped last year in hopes of starting fresh in 2019. Secondly, my father in law bought a new sweatshirt and this was the first time he wore it. He forgot to take the tags off and they were still on the sweatshirt which I noticed at the game. I TOLD HIM HE IS NOT ALLOUD TO TAKE THE TAGS OFF NOW!!! lol

PS: No kidding, we are a piece of work traveling to these away games. He is a riot and at 83 years old, he just goes with the flow which is really cool. He makes an outstanding meatloaf and I bring the cigars and two beers each! He thinks we are BAD!! LOL
