Let me start by saying I'm still no fan of the transfer portal (I'm not flip flopping, Southern). Hypothetically, if Levis decided to enter the portal and go back to the Lions, could he? Don't know why he would, but just trying to figure out how this thing works. Also, if there is a decent backup QB out there, or even a good starter stuck on a bad team, might he enter the portal with the ides of saving the Lions and maximizing his NIL value? Don't know if there are any rules or limitations on the portal in mid season. Just asking for somebody who knows to educate me. Thanks in advance.
I believe Roam said you can’t transfer and play during the season but I’m not sure.
You have to enter the portal by May 1st in order to play the upcoming season. Also, since Levis already transferred once he'd have to sit a year... unless he graduated
