I don't know much about the NIL and how all that plays out. But I was sitting at a bar last week enjoying an IPA and this lady and her son were from Tennessee ( sitting next to me ) and they said the SEC is very poor and will not be able to compete with the Big10 moving forward. Now, I don't know what all this means, but I do know she is from a wealthy family who supports Tennessee and she is saying they just don't have the kind of money we all all have up here.
Just saying......
IMO, we will know who has what in about 3-4 years b/c consistency will take hold.
There are good players out there who don't start b/c of scheme fit etc and now the portal and NIL opens it up for those types of players to find productive placement, sure not all will work out but its a win win on both sides, imo.
I've accepted the fact that the day of scholar-athletes is over for the most part with the exception of small schools and the academies.
And I highly recommend for players and parents to self-educate on taxes, savings, investing and eyeballing a screw job when in front of them.
King Mack is a great get ! I remember the hype that kid was getting before he decided to transfer.
I mean I remember the hype he was getting at PSUbefore he transferred to Bama. I like the fact that we’re getting guys from the portal with multiple years of eligibility
It was one and done for Jalen Kimber at Penn State.
The talented cornerback, who previously played at Georgia and Florida, took to social media on Sunday to announce he was declaring for the 2025 NFL draft.
Hate to lose this dude but I believe we’re stacked on defense and Tom Allen will have the defense top notch again.
@southern-psu-fan that’s a major loss . I believe he’s another one making a mistake by going early. Now we really need to put pressure on DDS and King to stay.
Is it just me, or does this look like they are saying Michigan is greater than >> Penn State?Got another one, Michigan 4 star DT with 4 years of eligibility left

Might want to consider different graphics
More rumors floating that Singleton is coming back and Allen is gone to the NFL or may even enter the portal. Tre Wallace, Omari Evans and Quentin Martin headed to the portal.
Penn State’s cornerback room absorbed its second significant loss on Sunday.
Cam Miller, who will be entering his fourth season, is entering the transfer portal, per a report by Blue-White Illustrated.
Miller would have been an integral part of the Lions’ cornerback room in 2025. Earlier on Sunday, Penn State veteran corner Jalen Kimber declared for the NFL draft.
Defense is gonna take a pretty big step back next season if they can’t fill some of these holes through the portal.
Kalen King and Daqoun Hardy are both rotting away on practice squads. Why Kimber is leaving is beyond me.
@kularrow And now they’re saying Kobe King is going to declare for the draft. I don’t know who at PSU is advising these guys but they’re not doing a very good job of it. I heard Kimber is projected as a late round pick.
