That's ok, Southern. I'm pretty good at reading between the lines, lol.  Good for Trace!  He deserves all the good that comes his way.  Call me silly, but I have a gut feeling that Clifford is gonna latch on with some NFL team and stick around for a while too.  Hope I'm right!

@rip I've been called silly, but Don't call me Shirley. Unfortunately he's heading for the NE Pats. I like them just about as much as Syr.

I can see Trace going into coaching after he hangs up the cleats. Not so for Clifford.

@rip

I am with you on Clifford, nothing silly here.  After that Ohio State loss he starting trending upwards with a great finish against Utah.  Who knows, maybe the guy just started to peak at the end of his college career.  Regardless, he brought us home a Rose Bowl win and I wish him the best!

I put Cliff in the same category as McGloin and Trace.  Not a heck of a lot of stars & hype, but plenty of heart and moxie.  That's why I think he'll make a pro roster and stick around long enough to earn a pension.  Quite a contrast to the way Hack ended up!
