AP will more than likely will be:
- Oregon
- Penn State
- Georgia
- Ohio State
- Texas
I will say that they may put Georgia #2 based on the Texas win, however it doesn't really matter for us. If we win the next 2 games, we will be #1 in the polls.
I think with a bye week and GA crushing #1, Ga going to #2. As you say though, it shakes out in a couple weeks.
That would be my top 5 as well.

Peeking at the early money line and odds, OSU is a 4 point favorite. Playing at Beaver stadium is a thorn in their side for OSU.
Wisconsin is currently a 8 point dog. Wisconsin is a scary team.

Why would we jump to #1 by beating Wisconsin and OSU? It would make no sense to put us ahead of Oregon,GA and others.
Because we would have beaten the same OSU that Oregon did, if convincingly... probably pass them. There is really no difference between us and them at that point. They would 100% move us ahead of Georgia, with 1 loss they would not be ahead of us with an Ohio State win on our resume.I will say that they may put Georgia #2 based on the Texas win, however it doesn't really matter for us. I agree with you Roam that as long as PSU beats OSU they are in...What is a head scratcher to me is why all the glazing of Texas? Who have they played worth a damn besides Georgia...And how good are they? They have a loss to Alabama and how good are they? They inflate these teams rankings so they can say they have a signature win...In reality they just play with themselves...
I don’t believe a 3 loss team will get in the playoffs over us with 1 loss but if we have a loss to Ohio St and sit home watching the big 10 championship game I believe a team from the SEC with 2 losses will get in over us if the SEC team is LSU or Georgia. They’ll use Penn St not playing in the championship games as an excuse but yeah if we beat Wisconsin and Ohio St of course we’re in.
@southern-psu-fan there will be 3 teams from the B1G in the playoff and the only way we’re left out with one loss is if Indiana somehow passes us in the rankings.
I am just telling you they are priming the pump at ESPN to convince everybody that these 2 and 3 loss SEC teams belong in ahead of undefeated and 1 loss teams from other conferences...I am just warning all of you that the fix is in...I said it before and am on record...They are gonna pump 5 SEC teams into this tournament and overseed them to boot...Get ready...
Here is how I see it......DON'T LOSE AND IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT THE FIELD OF 12 IS! Let them put 11 SEC teams in the playoffs, rank Penn State #12. As long as Penn State wins every game this year, they will be the National Champs!
GO STATE!
