Benefit of the doubt, Alabama has the history. That's why.
When humans vote, there's always bias. That's why I am for an 8 or 12 team system, I think it goes far enough to eliminate most of the bias without diluting it to a ridiculous degree.
If I was ranking things, I'd still have us ahead of OSU, Michigan, and MSU. Alabama would drop behind us too, since they lost to an unranked.
Florida didn't move after losing to Bama, so why should we when we lost to #3 at their place? My suspicion is voters dont really believe in Iowa, which happens to teams built like they are
As disappointing as today was, I think it became more clear that a healthy Penn State is for real and The two best teams in the Big10 are Penn State and Ohio State. We have to hope Cliffords injury is minor, because the winner of the Ohio State game vs Penn State is going to the playoffs and the ONLY team that can beat Ohio State ( in the Big) is PENN STATE!!

We had the depth two deep and didn't find a transfer to replace our transfer...but nobody wants to be number two especially a Jr or senior. Tough game to get real experience. Maybe not as bad as Bolden starting as a F at AL but still pretty tough.

Nittany...I am very encouraged from that ballgame yesterday...If Clifford doesn't get hurt we win that ballgame by 3 touchdowns...This team is for real...Now if Clifford is out for more than a week my attitude will change significantly...In Penn State's case the polls mean nothing...If they win out they are in...The frauds are becoming evident...Oklahoma is a fraud...Bama is a fraud...Frankly the whole SEC is weak this year...The ACC is a joke...Oklahoma will win out and get in...I figure Georgia winning out and getting in as well...The 1 loss or undefeated B1G champ will get in as well...It's gonna boil down to an argument between an undefeated Cincy, 1 loss PAC 12 champ or a 1 loss SEC non champ team...I would put in the undefeated team...but that is just me...
