Not surprising though, since he's wearing QB pads but lining up as a field player in practices. I'm actually really happy we won't see him at all in the bowl game, the LION position needs to go away.

Let's be honest. The Lion position was only installed to placate Stevens by getting him on the field other than as QB. Unless, McSorely went down, Stevens would never see the field as a QB except in mop up duties. After the first game or so that it was employed, it really became a wasted down. I believe we have seen the last of the "Lion" for the foreseeable future and beyond! And if McSorely goes down due to injury I'd rather be left with deciding between Stevens and Clifford than Clifford and no one!
I agree mb, I don’t want to ever see the back up QB unless it’s mop up duty. Like you said we wasted way to many plays.
Stevens will never be PSU’s starting QB. The competition will be between Clifford and the 2 marquee freshmen coming in. He should have transferred.
