Just read an article on PennLive and James Franklin said he’s limited McSorely running the ball but he also said it ain’t changed the game plan. I’ll be glad when he gets back because there are some plays he can come in a run, yes teams know he’s going to run but he still usually gets good yards and it gives other teams something else to worry about. In the first half last week I don’t think Pittsburgh was worried about McSorely running because Steven was out of course McSorely did start running later in the game and it helped the offense. I could tell he was told not to run because many times he could’ve picked up bigs yards had he took off.

I would assume McSorley will be limited running up until the Ohio State game. No need to run him against Kent State or Illinois, but we'll need all the tools against the Buckeyes.
