The goat is hanging it up. This dude always stepped up and made plays in crunch time. Hopefully he will get in broadcasting the NFL is better if he’s in it.

He would make a good QB coach at the college level.  Just think at his recruiting draw!

Good for him, but being a good player doesn't mean you'd be a good announcer.

Just read where he might be working on Fox after his playing days are over. I think it’s a good thing for the NFL

How so? What makes him a good guy? Just curious.

IMHO I believe any time we have guys like the great Terry Bradshaw, Steve Young, Troy Aikman and hopefully Tom Brady staying in the NFL doing something  with the knowledge they have about the game is a good thing. These guys have a lot of fans.

@southern-psu-fan Fair. But that doesn’t make them good guys. That makes them good football players. OJ was a great player. But was he a good guy? How about Kareem Hunt? Tyreek Hill? Ray Rice? Ty Cobb? The Babe? Lawrence Taylor? Ray Lewis? This is where I have a problem with our society holding these guys on pedestals for their on field performance. What about who they are off the field? What is their character? How do they treat people?

Full Disclosure. I’m not a Tom Brady fan. I don’t like how the league has catered to him with penalties, etc since he started his career. I also don’t like how he arrogantly whines to the refs looking for penalties because he is Tom Brady. I thought his running off the field without shaking Nick Foles hand after the Eagles beat them in the Super Bowl was childish and inexcusable. His arrogant failure to admit cheating with deflate gate was disappointing also. However, I will say this. If you look him up in relation to charity work, he does contribute a lot of money to several charities. I applaud him for that.
