FD keeps talking about ESPN being crooked, so I said that because the ACC is on board with them too. As in, the ACC has a contract with ESPN and their games are broadcast by ESPN.
My point was ESPN gets a team they are on board with either way. They are partners with both conferences so why would they care either way?
