Well you could never mistake Kirby Smart for having any class...I didn't even watch the clip but the headline from this classless piece of human excrement is Smart on Georgia's 60 point win..."People need to see what happened here today"...He runs up the score in a meaningless bowl game against a team literally without half it's players and considers that a statement? Like I said...Zero class...The question has been raised as to why these SEC kids play in the bowl games and don't sit out the answer is an obvious and simple one...Money...They are getting paid some how...Whether it be dark money under the table to parents or player himself or boosters with suitcases with money...Something is going on...it is getting harder and harder for me to get interested in this garbage because of the cesspool it has become...I can't wait to see the headlines on the 2nd after the farce of a playoff is done and read about the officiating screw ups and my prediction is the officiating screw ups will benefit Bama and Texas...I am convinced the NFL is fixed and I am beginning to think they are doing the same thing in College Football...When you have the money involved that is floating around in these sports you have to believe there is some shady shit going on...Football games are easy to fix...You just drop a flag on some key plays and that is all she wrote...If you think I am crazy all you need to do is look at the Georgia/OSU game last year...You think that targeting non call was the difference in the game? That's how simple it is to fix a game...
Georgia's Kirby Smart takes issue with Florida State opt outs after 60-point win: 'It needs to be fixed'

I watched the game and I didn't see him run up the score; I guess they could have played third string vs third string the entire game.
I'm glad they spanked the shit out of FSU, and if PSU wants to complain about opt outs and losing to Ol'Miss, I wouldn't've had a problem with Ol'Miss spanking the shit out of PSU worse than they did. JF's press conference was fing sad!
The current system is a mess and maybe a forced function action can cause change, but that will require a disaster playout of the current model and money. I hope Bama kicks the shit out of M, and WA kicks the shit out of TX, and then the NC can end in a tie game or Bama kicking the shit out of WA.
On a side note, has anyone heard any rumblings that Saban may retire after this year? Bama booster over drinks mentioned, but who knows ..... Saban just reminds me of the guy who knows when the ride is coming to an end in terms of not putting up with the happy bullshit of bullshitery.
LMAO, Kirby was literally scaping the bottom of his roster in the 2nd half.
I applaud him for letting those kids play, and not just having them kneel down like schmuks.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with bowl games. The only thing that's wrong with them are the fans that lash out when they don't win.
Also the NCAA and Bowl games are perfectly designed to achieve the desired outcomes.
If the coaches and players don’t like getting their butts kicked then do something about it, that’s all I got to say.
Pipe as usual you are too dim of a bulb to get the point of what I am trying to say...These games are meaningless...That is why and in my opinion rightfully so these kids prepping for an NFL career opt out of the games...These games are blatant money grabs and I hope the viewership is down so bad these greedy SOB's lose money on them...They have created a system due to their insatiable greed where as this is a professional league now...You have 1 year contracts, no salary caps, no tracking of money, no real accountability to anyone with basically no rules...There is no limit to what you can pay these players and you can bet that there is money rolling in from nefarious origins...It's all out in the open now...I have stated many times on this forum these meaningless bowl games should have been done away with years ago and been replaced with a real playoff system like they use in the other classifications...Like I said...I watched my one bowl game this season yesterday...I will be off streaming, making videos and playing call of duty...I can't bring myself to watch this rigged farce...Happy New Year to all and I will see you all next year...
@the-funeral-director Happy New Year too FD! And of course, all the rest of the gang here too.
Interesting comment about SEC players being paid to play in bowl games. Nothing would surprise me. The term they use in the SEC is “the money handshake.” That’s been around for decades.
Player money in bowl games is like steroids, you can choose to use if you want, just don't get caught.
