Since 2004, Penn State has opened Big Ten play at home three times and on the road 15 times. Ohio State has opened at home 10 times and on the road eight times, while Michigan has opened at home 11 times and on the road seven times.

Since 2010 we've opened on the road 10 out of 11 games, the only home game being 2015 Rutgers. We also have three more road openers, meaning we will have opened on the road in 10 straight Big Ten opening games.
