I have Penn State on the outside looking in this week. I only rank the top 5 and the team on the outside looking in because this is where the big dawgs play. Got give Clemson some credit they came out and took care of bidness yesterday so they climbed back in my top 5.

Clemson just climbed back in my top 5. FD, if we send Wisconsin to the playoffs they’ll get the same thing Michigan State got, maybe worse. On Ohio st’s defense they got sent to the playoffs when they were the 2nd best team because we should’ve been there and we could’ve beat Clemson.
You must be watching different football than I am Southern...If you don't think Wisky can play with any team in the country you are mistaken...I think they are playing the best football right now...I guess you think Michigan stinks? I believe if you put any of these top teams in the B1G they would lose 2 games...Is Michigan a garbage team southern? They beat Iowa and only allowed 3 pts...Wisky drubbed em...Either Michigan is a good team or they are garbage...They have 1 loss...I don't understand the logic in all of this...I really don't and that is because there is no logic at all...It's all smoke and mirrors...It's all hype...It's all baloney and a farce....
I’m always worried about Michigan when we play ‘em.inthink Michigan has some problems right now one being they don’t look fast. Michigan looks like Iowa and Wisconsin to me. I agree with FD on this one Southern, Wisky is not 2015 Michigan State. MSU had a fair defense and a above average offense, but neither unit were special. They were a very good team that played good defense in some big games, but came up against a buzzsaw in 2015 Alabama.
Wisconsin doesn't just have above average units, their defense is downright nasty. It's exceptional, and could hold up to just about anyone. Their offense is also pretty good, and they play the style that could play keep away from high powered offenses. If Wisky were to play Alabama or LSU right now, neither of those teams has the defense to stop the run like they have in the past. I think UW could keep their defense fresh and simply keep both of those potent offenses off the field.

Exactly the same thing people said when we played Wisconsin in 2016 and we seen how that turned out. When it’s nitty gritty time the Tide and LSU will destroy Wisconsin. They just don’t have the players to compete when it comes playoff time. The 2016 Wisconsin team is better than this one this year IMO

It's not even close to the same. Considering Wisconsin had 2 losses and played us tough and we only beat them by 3 at the end. How the heck is that the same as MSU getting beat 38-0?
No one was claiming that Wisky team was what they are saying about this team in 2019.

If they lose to Ohio State and Iowa, they may not make the Championship game... Iowa or Minnesota might.
Regardless, if they lose twice it wouldn't matter, they would not make the CFP at that point. I think if they lose a close game to Ohio State and then beat them in the BTC, they would still make the CFP.

Not with 2 losses they won’t. They could sneak in like they did a couple of years ago but that’s with 1 loss.
Here is one of the many things that bother me about the current system. I will do my best to stay on task and only discuss this one.
Lets so Wisconsin does lose to Ohio State and Penn State goes onto beat Ohio State. Heck even if Ohio State wins that game against PSU it will be the same scenario.
ONE loss Wisconsin play against a ZERO loss OSU or PSU in the BIG championship game. If Wisconsin wins, they may or may not make the playoff. If PSU or OSU loses they may not make the playoffs BUT if they sit out the conference championship game they would be undefeated and almost assuredly get a spot at the dance. I know it won't happen but why not. Why wouldn't a coach say, nah, I want to sit out and rest my guys for the NCAA Championship because that is our ultimate goal? A couple of other teams have been able to get bye weeks and not risk losing or injury and were able to get into the playoffs so why shouldn't a zero loss team just sit it out? Bottom line if you do not play in a conference championship game you should not make the playoffs. And yes that even means Notre Dame.
