SPF, I love you, man, and I enjoy your posts.

But I have to disagree about OSU. They’re like us...talented but not a cohesive team. I’d say we’re both Top-15 teams, but Michigan is the real deal. Their lines are great, and that QB is playing well. They have the offensive and defensive depth to go the distance. I suspect that they’ll shellack OSU.

Gotta agree with Tim on this one SPF.  OSU sucks muddy canal water.

1.Alabama

2.Clemson

3.Michigan

4.Georgia

I'm not sure who would give Alabama a decent game in the first round of the playoffs but I damn sure know it isn't Notre Dame.

These ratings, and all that follow southern, are actually funny..in that all they do is validate your and others hatred for ND..By any objective poll, whether it be AP, coaches, CFP, Fox, talking ESPN heads, ND is third..Its not even debatable, not that any of this cant change..OSU at 4 is laughable..

ND right now is Big 10 champ, having taking out Big 10 East and West leaders..Not that that is any claim to distinction, given the horrendous state of the conference this year..;-)

CT, Ohio st gives ND a beatdown every time they play lol. I have ND on the outside looking in. Also I’m being fair because until Michigan can prove they can beat Ohio st why should I have any faith that they can. Yes this is a different year but that what ND and Michigan always say and then they both get their butts kicked when they step on the field with Ohio st. We’ll see in 2 weeks if Michigan can get it done. I say they don’t? Just going by what I’ve seen the last 15 years.

Michigan has to prove they can beat Ohio st. Ohio st has dominated Michigan the last 20 years. I’ve seen Michigan lose many times when I thought they had a better team. It’s s in Michigan’s Head they are best when they step on the field from what I’ve seen the last 20 years. We’ll see in 2 weeks brother lol

Culture Club, glad we could put a smile on your face today!!  You DO know that the definition of the word "poll" has the word opinion in it...right??  Anyway, we'll see who's laughing at the end of the year.  Notre Dame is gonna flame out just like they always do.  Seriously, dont you have a forum of your own where fellow ND fans can get together and chat??  Its pretty foolish to come to a PSU forum and expected to get much love for ND here.  But hey, to each his own and your welcome here.

BTW......you do realize that ND's SOS is rated #53 in the nation, right??

You crack me up southern with the pot calling the kettle black..You talk about OSU beatdowns of UM and ND..ND has played OSU only twice in last 20 years, both Fiesta BOWLS, LOST BY 34-20, AND 44-28..

So let me ask you, do the numbers 8-18 mean anything to you?..As it seems you have categorized double digit wins as "beatdowns", do the scores, 24-6, 38-7, 28-9, 45-6, 21-10, 28-6, 37-17, 24-7, 38-14, 35-23, 63-14, 38-10, resonate with you?  😉

CT, I have ND 5th in the true top 5 ahead a Michigan. I just go by the last 20 years I’m not going back to the Red Grange years lol. If ND wins out they’ll get in the playoffs. I just don’t think ND has the athletes on defense to compete with Ohio st, Alabama or Clemson. ND has some nice wins but they get killed in the playoffs. Michigan has to prove to me they can beat Ohio State before I give them the benefit of the doubt. I rank these teams in the true top 5 as I see them today. I only rank the top 5 because this is where the big dawgs play and I have ND 5th. Cut me some slack brother lol

Good talking to ya southern, at least you're  a good sport..You and I know in  these long term rivalries, both schools go on  runs, UM leads OSU 58-49...But youre right, OSU has had their way in recent yrs, I think Urban has 6 or 7 in row, and most times its the school with the best coach that goes on  a run..I do think UM is better team this yr, but with the game in Columbus, the Big East title on the line, I wouldn't bet against Urban either..with his track record..I do think that series will flip soon...Harbaugh may be getting primed for a run at UM; Urban on other hand, if rumors are true, could be on the outs in Columbus..Ill believe it when I see it, but the rumors are out there..
